Highlights of the Month - December 2016

Hello Everyone, I had a good month of reading - I managed to read five books.  I would say that my favourite book of the month is 'Brake Failure' by Alison Brodie, but since I haven't done a review on that book yet, I'm not going to say too much about it at this stage, just that I got it as an ARC, and that it's going to be released next year in January. Last Word: I've got a lot planned for next year, basically it's going to be the read-a-thon, I'll also be trying out cover reveals next year, and also I'm hoping to get a new website for this book blog going. Since it's the end of the year, I'm going to say it again; it's amazing how much I've achieved this year, and who knows, maybe I'll also be able to read more books next year. This is also the most that I've posted in a week, this is my forth post.  Maybe it's also due to me cramming in the books that I need to complete the Goodreads Reading Challeng

My Wrap Up and Favourites for 2016

Hello Everyone, It's the last day of the year. For those that are reading this book blog for the first time; welcome. I've had a good year of reading - for those that don't know, I started this book blog in March this year, and it's still surreal what a long way I've come from my first post.  I've been able to have the opportunity to read books that I wouldn't have normally had access to without having to buy them; and to all those authors that have provided me a copy in exchange for an honest review - a HUGE thank you!  I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has read this blog and that has also had a hand in bringing some new readers to this book blog, I most certainly wouldn't be where I am without you! For the past two months or so, the number of views on my blog has climbed - and I'm happy to announce that I now have over 10 000 views, so thank you so much!  I plan on expanding this blog next year, so I

My Week of Reading (19 - 24 December 2016)

Hello Everyone, I would first like to say, Merry Christmas! Hope you all have been having a good day. My reading this week has been alright. The book that I decided on was 'After Me' by Deborah Coonts, and managed to finish it as well , though I'm only going to put that review up next week. So there unfortunately won't be any review links in this post. Right now I'm busy reading 'The Last Valentine' by Felix Alexander, I have read one of his books previously, so it'll be nice to read a book of his again. I'm hoping to have a review up sometime next week.  I've also got a new reading device: my dad got me a tablet for Christmas, and this is the longest break that I've ever given my poor laptop since I got it. I also got Sims 4 City Living, and am really enjoying playing that (I spent most of the day playing the game). I also got Game of Thrones version of Monopoly, and managed to play a quick game with my sister tonight.  Last Wor

Hello Everyone, I've had a fun time reading this week. I managed to do a book tour, and I've finished reading 'Brake Failure' by Alison Brodie; but this particular review I'm not going to put up just yet, since this novel is only going to be released on the 9th of January 2017. I really enjoyed the book, but I won't say anything more, and will keep you all in suspense until the book is released and I've got my reviews up.  Anyway, enough of that, here is my latest reviews: Energize Your Life by Del Millers: Amazon:  Amazon Review - Energize Your Life Goodreads:  Goodreads Review - Energize Your Life Here is my blog review of the book:  Blog Review - Energize Your Life Last Word: So, it's nearly Christmas and the end of the year is drawing closer. I still want to see if I'll be able to do a wrap up post for my reading this past year as well as my favourites; I might still be able to squeeze it in somewhere!  Now I've j

It's been a long day, and I'll probably end up going to bed early.  One thing I will say is that it'll be nice to read a paperback again, since I haven't read one in a while. Maybe I should make a New Year's resolution to read more paperbacks next year

Highlights of the Month - November 2016

Hello Everyone, I think the first highlight of my month would be that my number of page views went up for my blog - and I am so grateful for that!  I managed to finish 4 books this month; including one that I did for a book blog tour, so I had a decent month of reading. My favourite book of the month was 'Eyes of Autumn' by Cynthia H. Wise; this was a book I thoroughly enjoyed, and if you like mysteries, then I suggest you get yourself this one. I also attempted to do NaNoWriMo this month, which I unfortunately didn't end up finishing, since I got sidetracked and started doing other things. I've also got other reading-related stuff in the works as well. I've started a  Goodreads group  about a read-a-thon that I plan on starting next year, and have given a small explanation as to what it's going to entail, so be sure to check it out! Last Word: I haven't quite planned my reading for December yet, though I have a very rough idea of what
